My heart is to bring the Bible to life through my writings and communication style sharing the ‘Good News’ of the gospel to the everyday person, just like you and me; unveiling the unconditional love, unfailing grace and hope found only in Jesus.
My prayer for you …“Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope!” (Rom 15:13 TPT)

While the Advisory Board doesn’t carry formal authority or legal responsibility, their influence is deeply felt. They are trusted friends, mentors, and leaders who generously offer their time, experience, and intercession in support of the mission of Hope with Heidi.
Their presence reminds me that this ministry is not mine alone—it is carried in community, guided by the Holy Spirit, and built with wisdom that is sought intentionally and humbly.
Alex Robinson
The Salvation Army
Alex Robinson is a passionate and purpose-filled officer in The Salvation Army, currently leading the Dee Why church and community centre (‘corps’) on Sydney’s Northern Beaches – the very community where she grew up.
With over 27 years of experience as a communications professional at The Salvation Army’s Sydney headquarters, Alex spent much of her early career sharing stories of transformation and hope. But over time, something began to stir more deeply in her heart.
“I was captivated from the start by the Salvos’ mission,” she says. “It was this beautiful blend of passionate spirituality and social justice – Christianity with its sleeves rolled up.”
What began as a communications role slowly evolved into a personal calling. Alex found herself increasingly drawn to the heart of ministry – not just writing about lives being changed, but longing to be part of the transformation firsthand.
“My heart’s desire shifted,” she reflects. “It wasn’t about promoting the name of The Salvation Army anymore. I just wanted to lift the name of Jesus alone – ‘Sing a new song… His praise, His glory alone.’”
That internal shift eventually led Alex to surrender her vision of a part-time ministry life and embrace full-time ministry as a Salvation Army officer. In 2021, she was commissioned and appointed to serve at Dee Why Corps – a place that feels like home in more ways than one.
Today, Alex leads with authenticity, humility, and a deep love for people. She is passionate about grassroots ministry – meeting people where they are, offering hope, and pointing them to Jesus. Whether through Sunday services, community outreach, or simply sitting with someone in their pain, Alex embodies the very heart of the mission she once only wrote about.
Derrick Yeoh
Media Producer at Hope Media Limited | Founder and Director of SoundMesh
Derrick Yeoh is a Media Producer at Hope Media Limited, based in the Greater Sydney Area. As a formally trained musician and engineer, he combines creative vision with technical precision across studio production, live sound, and broadcast radio. His diverse experience enables him to approach audio projects with both artistic insight and scientific rigor.
An alumnus of SAE Institute Oxford, UK, Derrick is passionate about creating immersive audio experiences that push the boundaries of sound design. He actively contributes to his community through volunteer work at Hillsong Macquarie, where he serves in kids ministry and has supported various technical and musical roles.
In 2023, Derrick founded SoundMesh, a media company specialising in podcast production and social media content, reflecting his commitment to shaping the evolving audio landscape through innovative storytelling and quality production.
Leanne Jago
Senior Associate
Leanne Jago is a Senior Associate at Koda Capital, bringing over 20 years of experience in finance and administration. Her professional background spans a variety of roles across banking, accounting, and small business, with previous experience at Aqua Private Wealth prior to joining Koda.
Known for her diligence, integrity, and attention to detail, Leanne brings a steady and insightful voice to both her professional work and the ministries she supports.
Leanne has been walking with Jesus since the age of 20. Her faith is the foundation of her life, guiding her decisions and deepening her desire to serve others with humility and grace. She is passionate about contributing to work that carries eternal impact and is honoured to support Hope with Heidi Ltd through prayer, wisdom, and trusted counsel.
Andrew Gray
